There are four experienced teachers at FSDance, lets meet them
Jayne Meggitt
I've been dancing since I was 4 years old and I just love to tap dance. I used to dance in the pubs & clubs around Coventry with "Venom". I recently became head of Tap with the U.T.D and I have re-written the syllabi to incorporate more up to date choreography and refresh the work. I have also Choreographed for the Criterian Theatre for their production of "Gypsy". I am now a qualified Examiner with the UTD and enjoy meeting with other schools around the country.
Katie Hindmarsh
I have been dancing all my life and I've been at FSDance since 1994. I've competed in the UTD championships and received the highest mark for my Tap work. I am qualified with the U.T.D. I have a zest for Lyrical & Tap. I also love choreoraphing, especially finding new pieces of music and bringing them to life through dance.
I'm also a Primary school teacher and a mother of three girls.
Kate Saxton
I've been dancing for as long as I can remember. I used to be the company choreographer and tread the boards with "The Coventry Melody Makers" and have a keen interest in Musical Theatre and singing. I love teaching the children new skills and particularly love Ballet.
Tasha Hindmarsh
I've been at the school since 1994 and started my teaching career at the age 14. I am now an associate member with the UTD. My passion is Acrobatics and choreographing dances for stage and festivals. I can't wait to teach the pupils new dances and watch them grow in confidence. I am also a midwife and mother of Elias, Irah and Oryn.
